Hi, Our house is a large two bed end-terrace council property in Loughborough, Leicestershire, with a full weekly rent of just ?41.46.
Downstairs we have two medium sized reception rooms (lounge & diner) and a small kitchen at the rear.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a large bathroom (with bath and electric shower).

The property also benefits from the addition space of a cellar and a small, secure brick out-building.
Although there is no front garden or driveway, local off-road parking is available and we have a fair size enclosed back garden.

Or street is mainly privately owned, with only 2 other council properties, and our neighbours are all fairly private people but are still more than friendly when we meet in the street or at the local shop etc.

Our property is a stone's throw from the Grand Union Canal, which is a beautiful walk on a nice day, with water front public houses etc, and also plays host to an annual Narrow Boat festival.
It's also a fantastic fishing spot, with many anglers coming out during the season.
If you're more of a train person than a boater, there's also Loughborough's famous Great Central Railway station & steam museum which is less than a 10 minute walk away.
(Voted number 12 on the list of the 50 greatest railway journeys in the world the Great Central Railway is the UK's only double track, main line heritage railway.)
Other notable places within our local area include Charnwood Water, a man-made reservoir and beauty spot to the South of Loughborough town centre, covering a hugely impressive 27 acres.
It is surrounded by trees, much loved by local wildlife, and is a beatiful place to visit for a quiet day out, especially in summer.


The town's also got good travel links, with the train station serving the London line only a few minutes walk from home, and regular bus services in and out of town.


We're well situated with regards to local amenities, there are numerous small shops, restaurants, pubs etc within a 2 minute walk and we're only a 10 minute walk to the town centre (varied range of shops, large park, library, leisure centre etc. and a large open market 3 days a week).
(shops in town include many of the big names such as Primark, Next, New Look, Burton's, Evans, Boots, Superdrug, Somerfield, Sainsbury's, Waterstones, WH Smiths, Game, Currys, Clarks, Shoe Zone and many more)



Please be aware that the property is in need of decoration throughout, including carpeting etc.
